Description
Lavender in a garden smells beautiful with all the other flowers in bloom. This is more of a floral scent versus the more camphorous varieties. Not overpowering or powdery, it’s more subtle.
Someone asked me to create a Lavender Solid Perfume and I decided to make it with fragrance oil instead of essential oil to make it last longer. Again, this is NOT made with lavender essential oil and has a more floral scent.
**PLEASE NOTE: if you like your fragrance strong, this solid perfume probably isn’t for you and you would be better served by a liquid perfume. This a more of a subtle, personal fragrance. Also, please see photos and general information for the size of the tin. It is a compact size.
To make Lavender Solid Perfume, I mix the lavender fragrance with a combination of sweet almond oil, organic shea butter, organic beeswax, and Vitamin E oil. So it not only smells good, but it provides nourishing ingredients to your skin. Then I package it in a conveniently sized tin that fits in a small pocket of your purse or in your make up bag.
Solid perfumes aren’t something new. The ancient Romans and Egyptians used to use them for scents and/or healing properties. Europeans carried them around in fancy lockets. So I feel like I’m in good company.
Be sure and check all the ingredients for allergies.
