It’s fall now. Time to start getting out our sweaters and enjoy a little nip in the air. I love this time of year. And to help get ready for the change in the weather, it’s time to add new products to the Love from Santa Barbara line. As we approach gift-giving season, people are looking to buy unique, handmade gifts… an excellent choice to get ready for the holidays, birthdays, pretty much any occasion, or as guilty pleasures for yourself.
New products
Recent new products include hand poured 100% pure beeswax candles (they smell so amazing!), Pumpkin Spice Whipped Body Butter, Snoots’ Manly Bar Soap, some nice woodsy-smelling men’s shaving soap, some salt soap I’m calling Summerland Beach Soap. Almond Cocoa Goat’s Milk Soap, Lotus Flower Soap and more. There’s also Mission Fig Harvest and Pumpkin Spice soap in the curing stage, and more to come. I hadn’t repeated myself with the soap yet, but it looks like I will be making up more Honeysuckle Rose Soap, since I’m sold out and there are requests for more. I am also testing some lotion… Pumpkin Spice, Tropical Coconut Mango, and Gardenia, with more to come.
There are lots more new products coming up, too… bath/massage oil, massage candles, beard oil, facial serum, solid perfume, lotion bars in a push up container, eye serum, more lotions, balm for your feet and cream for your face. Shipments have been coming in with the new supplies and I’m excited to be expanding the offerings. Speaking of which, there will be a few other things besides skin care offered soon. I’ve been making these really cool bolo ties, just for instance. Also plans for some jewelry. So keep checking back!
Available downtown SB
If you’re in town, stop in at Aprepo Hair Design on Cota Street to check out some of the products there. Of course there are lots more available here on the site. ‘Cause who doesn’t like to receive handmade gifts made in Santa Barbara?
It’s always nice to hear comments and feedback. What is your favorite product so far?
Joe Gianelli
Hello there,
I met you while walking along Chase Palm Park in Santa Barbara back in 2016 with my family. You had a small stand of soaps and I was drawn to the “Nice Guy” sent. I ordered about 2 dozen bars, then lost track of them back in 2017. I’m now down to my last bar and would like to know if you still make the “nice guy” brown colored bars?

Thank you for your message, Joe. I replied by email. It was another soapmaker you bought from in 2016 at the beach. If you describe the scent, I might be able to come close with one of my men’s soaps. Thanks again for getting in touch!
