If you’re not familiar with massage candles, you’re in for a treat. They may resemble traditional candles, but instead of just wax, they consist of ingredients that melt at low temperatures and are good for your skin. Simply light the candle, wait for a small pool to form, then blow the flame out and pour into your hand and massage into the skin.
These make wonderful gifts for weddings or bridal showers, anniversaries, Valentine’s Day, holidays and general gift giving. But why not get one for yourself while you’re at it? One friend wants me to send her a couple so she can take to her massage therapist. They have many uses and smell so good. These are scented with my own blend of essential oils. Santa Barbara Nights Massage Candle Ingredients:
Organic shea butter, Organic cocoa butter, Sweet almond oil, Soy flakes, Vitamin E oil, Essential oils of Bergamot, Sweet orange, Tangerine, Grapefruit, Blood orange, Lemon 10 fold, Geranium, Jasmine, and Lavender.
To use, light the candle and leave it to burn for 5-15 minutes or until a sizable pool of warm oil has formed. Then blow out the flame and pour the warm oil directly into your hand and immediately massage into the skin. Trim wick to 1/4” each time before lighting.
WARNING: To prevent fire or personal injury, burn candle within sight. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never burn on or near anything that can catch fire. Trim wick to 1/4” each time you light. Do not move while lit or until wax hardens. Discontinue use when 1/4” wax remains in bottom. Keep free of foreign objects. Burn at least one hour per inch of candle diameter each time candle is lit to ensure best burning efficiency. Check ingredients for allergies.
