Wire wrapped turquoise, opal and copper combo
These are made with a hollow disc of hammered copper. I’ve wire wrapped them and put in some Australian opal and Chinese turquoise beads to set them off. These hammered copper disc earrings-turquoise/opal are handmade right here in Santa Barbara. I love this combination with copper for a refreshing change. They are simple and versatile.
A fun design, the copper will form a nice patina over time.
Be advised that the ear wire is copper and a small percentage of people are allergic to copper. The wire can discolor your ears, although I have applied some wax to them.
