Description

I’ve been meaning to create some felted soap for awhile and now I have the time. This Garibaldi Felted Soap 1 was inspired by the fish I’ve seen while snorkeling out at the Channel Islands. This is something I call Soap in a Blanket.

I made this with my Gardenia Silk Soap. And the reason I call it a soap in a blanket is because I use wool to wrap the bar and decorate it. So not only does it look nice and unique, but the soap lasts longer. It’s also a good at exfoliator, sloughing off dead skin cells and leaving your skin soft and renewed.

And when the soap is gone, you can use it as a scrubbing pad. In addition, the wool doesn’t hold any bacteria so it stays clean and free of mold.

All my felted soaps come with a wooden soap dish.

Word to the wise: Don’t let this soap sit in water or be in a direct stream of the shower, or it will just melt away.
